Best Kabobs from City Kabob at the Sunnyvale Tennis Center

Our favorite kabob place is located in the most unusual location - in a shack near the Sunnyvale Tennis Center.  We've tried many kabob places in the Bay Area including ones in Fremont where it's supposed to be good but nothing beats City Kabob in Sunnyvale.  City Kabob is a small operation where the owner turns out the best tasting kabobs on his tiny grill.  If you're going for lunch during a work day, be sure to call ahead and place an order as there's limited space on his grill and you can wait up to half an hour.

We usually get take out from here as it's very easy to call up and place a take out order and go pick it up.  Our favorites here are the two koobideh kabobs with rice and salad for $9.99 and the combo kabob (chicken and koobideh) for $12.99.  The last few times, we've just gone with the koobideh as it's cheaper in price and the chicken tends to be overcooked at times.  Unfortunately, we're not big fans of lamb so we don't have an opinion on that kabob.  However, for those of you who have had Middle Eastern food these prices are a bargain.

Definitely go check out City Kabob when in Sunnyvale, here are the details for the place:
