We're so glad that there is a QQ Noodle in Milpitas now. Prior to the opening of this location, we used to drive to Fremont for QQ Noodle. For those of you who don't know Mandarin - QQ stands for chewy. So QQ Noodle basically translates to chewy noodles in English. The reason they are chewy is because they are freshly made noodles which makes it so delicious. Whenever we come here, we usually order one dry noodle and one soup noodle. As a rule of thumb, always eat the soup noodle first because the noodles become kind of gross if it sits in the soup too long. Our recommendations for soup noodles are:
Hot and Spicy Fish Noodle Soup - the fish is lightly battered and fried and goes really well with the spicy soup.
Hot and Spicy Beef Stew Noodle Soup - same as above but with beef stew, this one is their take on a traditional Taiwanese noodle soup dish
For the dry noodles, we always get their #1 - House Special Sour & Spicy Pork Sauce Noodles. This one is a must, we've never seen anything like this anywhere else. It's basically a spicy sauce with pork and what looks to be potatoes. We've been to QQ Noodle probably a dozen times and every time we've ordered this dish.
