Lunch at Olive Garden in Milpitas

Just like we were craving Red Robin burgers a few Saturdays ago, we were craving the bread sticks and Zuppa Toscana soup from Olive Garden this particular Saturday.  Now that an Olive Garden is open in the Great Mall in Milpitas, it makes it convenient to go here.  Previously, we had to go to either South San Jose on Blossom Hill Road or to Palo Alto.  Both are easily 20 minute drives compared to a 10 minute drive to this new location.

As mentioned earlier, we were craving the bread sticks and Zuppa Toscana soup.  I could have just eaten this as I had three bread sticks and two bowls of soup.  However, I didn't stop there as I had the Chicken Parmigiana too.  Everything here was good as always.  I know this isn't your authentic Italian restaurant but it's pretty damn good food and we definitely like coming here.

Very disappointed with service. Ordered green salad and calamari with child's spaghetti plate. Waited 40 minutes for spaghetti, received large bowl of green salad with wrong dressing on it and never received calamari. Asked where it was and was told it would be another 15 minutes.
